The 2027 Stormwater Western Australia Awards for Excellence recognise and celebrate excellence in the innovation, development, delivery and management of stormwater projects, as well as the people behind them.
Participating in the Awards is more than an opportunity to gain recognition. It is a chance to inspire others, share achievements and showcase the meaningful work our industry delivers every day. For organisations involved in every facet of stormwater, the Awards are a chance to be publicly recognised for their achievements, and to showcase leading practice across a range of stormwater disciplines and sectors.
The journey begins with the State and Territory Awards for Excellence, where outstanding projects, initiatives and individuals are recognised for their contribution to the industry and the communities they serve. State winners then advance to the National Awards, where the best projects, teams, and individuals come together, demonstrating the power of innovation and management to overcome challenges and drive lasting change.

2027 Key Dates;
Project timeline - Construction Practical Completion must fall between 1 May 2024 – 26 February 2027.
Entries Open: Wednesday 7 October 2026
Submission Deadline: 26 February 2027, 5pm AWST
Winners Announced: Hydropolis 2027, Wednesday 26 – Thursday 27 May 2027

Project entry fees have been waived for all Stormwater WA members, making it easier than ever to gain the recognition your project deserves. Entries for Young/Stormwater Professional of the Year are free of charge to all entrants.
