Stormwater Australia held their National Awards for Excellence ceremony on Wednesday 29th March 2023, in conjunction with the NSW Stormwater conference. 

Stormwater WA congratulates the Western Australian winners in the following National categories, on their collective effort to support innovative, smart and effective stormwater outcomes for Western Australia.

The Wharf Street Basin project delivers a new systems based approach to stormwater management and education in Western Australia. Formerly a fenced off drainage basin, the site has become a new innovative piece of Public Open Space (POS) within the Canning City Centre, while continuing its drainage infrastructure function.
